Fresh flowers are one of the many simple things in life that bring me joy. As a tabletop enthusiast, I tend to go a bit overboard when shopping for flowers each week. Trader Joe’s is my go-to spot because they have an amazing selection of flowers at some of the lowest price points around Seattle. I like to shop early in the morning for the best selection – it can get a bit sad later in the day. I wait all year for peony season to come along and it’s finally here!
I scooped up this tablecloth on sale a few weeks back from Julia Amory. It’s been on my wish list since last Summer and it’s often sold out. I’m glad I was able to finally get my hands on it because it’s the perfect match for a bouquet of peonies. The colors also coordinate perfectly with my collection of Richard Ginori Oriente Italiano dishes. I can’t get enough of this gorgeous pattern and plan to keep adding to my collection little by little. They often need to be special ordered, which can take weeks. I placed an order for some dessert plates back in January that have yet to arrive, so patience is a must!
I rounded out the look with some of my most used glassware. I seriously reach for them both all the time! If you are on the fence about investing in some Estelle Colored Glassware or the highly coveted Sir/Madam tulip glasses, I say, go for it! You won’t regret it. Cheers!
