Black, Red, High, Low.

Game night was never a tradition I had growing up. To be honest, I usually try my best to avoid games. My husband is the complete opposite of me. He absolutely loves games and looks for any excuse to play, whether it’s an elaborate board game or a couple of rounds of cornhole in the backyard, he’s in. His enthusiasm has led to weekly game nights at our house where we host our friends for dinner, drinks, and of course a little healthy competition.

The best part of this new tradition is that I get an excuse to set the table each week. These Casa Lopez dishes couldn’t be more perfect with their hand painted card motifs. I love the floral design featured on the dinner and salad plates- it adds the perfect amount of femininity. I decided to play up the red and light blue that is featured in the dinner plates when setting this table. You can just as easily use black, white, or green as the accent color for these fabulous dishes. I happened to find them on sale, so make sure to snatch them up if they strike your fancy. Cheers!
