This light and airy table feels like a fresh start to the year. I was drawn to these plates immediately because of the happy design. I wanted the plates to be the star of the show, so I decided on neutral accents that played off the plate’s color palette. I used a linen table runner instead of placemats and simple napkins.
Glassware happens to be my favorite thing to collect and one of my go-tos is the Perle Collection from Zafferano. The collection has lots of pieces to choose from, but the beverage and tumbler options are my favorite. The colors are vibrant, they look elegant, and they can be washed in the dishwasher, which is a HUGE win when it comes to pretty glassware. I used the clear beverage glasses in this tablescape as my water glasses, along with sage green tulip glasses, and blush wine glasses.
A big bouquet of hydrangeas rounded out the design. I love hydrangeas and this bunch has been going strong for over a week. Usually they start deflating on me after one or two days. There are so many tips out there on how to revive them, but somehow they never work for me. I am celebrating this small victory!
