Red Red Wine

I recently decided to challenge myself to design 14 tables during the 14 days leading up to Valentine’s Day. I’m learning that I really love red and pink and I have a lot of both colors in my collection. This table was especially fun to create because I knew that I wanted to use my Hotel Magique L’ Amour plates and they add a playful tone to any tablescape. Red soon became the theme for this table with the addition of my Skyros Designs placemats (currently sold out). I kept the glassware simple, but bold. Flowers and some playing cards that I picked up years ago at Colonial Williamsburg added the last bit of flair. No Valentine’s Day date is complete without some delicious red wine – D2 from De Lille Cellars is a personal favorite. Cheers!
